I had an idea to do this Dallas Cowboy painting for quite some time, but never got around to it. When I saw that Jay Ratliff was going to be at The Ticket's Ticketstock, I had a new sense of urgency to get it done. I enjoy painting in oils because it gives me more leeway. But it takes forever to dry. Each time I took a break, I also took a picture. In doing so, I documented my process. Being able to have it signed (it was still wet) was the icing on the cake.
